Route Update

Please note there will be changes to the route after the Mays Landing Rest Stop, including a change in location of the last rest stop. We are working closely with Ocean City on plans that will enable us to finish at our traditional finish line at 5th and the Boardwalk. We appreciate the support and partnership of Ocean City and all the counties and municipalities along the route to ensure the continued success of this ride. Finalized route details will be shared as soon as they are available.

On the Road to Reaching Our Goal

We are nearly 50% of the way to our goal. Although we don't have an extra incentive this month, we need your help more than ever to ensure we reach this milestone. Help us reach 75% by September 24. Log in to your Participant Center today to:

  • Make a self-pledge.
  • Follow up with those who have not yet donated.

Prepare for Ride Weekend

> Find out how to obtain your rider number, if you haven't already received yours. Rider numbers have been mailed to those who met the August 31 deadline.

> Get all the information you need - For important information about the route, Ride weekend times and reminders, start locations, weather and more useful weekend information, be sure to check:

> Have your bike inspected at a local sponsoring shop or at a Group Riding Skills course by Sept. 22. Access your Free Bike Inspection coupon, plus many more great promotions, in your Virtual Goodie Bag. Reminder: these bike inspections are free and mandatory for cyclists to receive free bike maintenance throughout Ride weekend.

> Be a responsible, safe and courteous cyclist: With more than 5,000 cyclists on the road, each individual makes an impact - good or bad. Corporate Sponsorship: SubaruSubaru

Each year, you can see one of the many City to Shore branded Subaru vehicles leading the thousands of cyclists out onto the route – and that’s just the beginning of all the support they provide. The festivities, smiling faces, and commemorative giveaways and photos that have continued to earn them the title of Most Festive Rest Stop. And the Top 250 cyclists have time and time again lovingly signed their name on the renowned banner. In 2016, they were the recipient of City to Shore’s highest honor, the Larry Cane Cup. For over 20 years, Subaru has been a partner of City to Shore, and we are excited to welcome them back for the 2017 Ride once again, as the official car sponsor, Mays Landing Rest Stop sponsor (also known as 'the Subaru stop') and top volunteer and cycling team. We want to give a heartfelt thank you to Subaru for their continued support in 2017.

How Your Fundraising Helps

Your fundraising supports life-changing programs and services for people affected by MS.

Many people living with chronic diseases, including MS, have learned that practicing behaviors that promote resilience is the secret to not just coping with the disease, but thriving with it. The Society recognized the importance resilience plays on living one’s best life with MS and as a result, developed a program with donor and partner support to address this critical need.

The components of this multi-faceted program, Resilience: Addressing the Challenges of MS, include print materials, online publications and resources, and in-person programming. The program brings together experts in the field as well as the personal stories of people with MS. Learn more >
