Leave Your Company's Mark on City to Shore
Support
from companies is extremely important in keeping administrative costs low and
continuing to ensure funds raised through City to Shore directly impact those
affected by MS. In addition to starting
a team, corporate sponsorship is a great way to promote your company to the entire
City to Shore community. The following opportunities are still available for City to Shore 2017
and provide prime visibility for your company:
- Hammonton Lunch Rest Stop: This stop offers prime visibility with nearly 75% of City to Shore
cyclists making a pit stop to grab some lunch on their way to the finish line.
- Rest Stops: With shared and exclusive options available, make your presence known
while enhancing the overall Ride and cyclist experience. Rest Stops are also a
great option to engage employees and provide an opportunity for team building.
You can have your company’s visibility on full display by providing branded
T-shirts.
- Century Rest Loop & Rest Stop: Cheer on cyclists as they take on the extra
25 miles to complete the Century Loop!

Meet Mary: Fellow Cyclist and I Ride with MS Participant
Mary Andris
Kelly was in her teens when she experienced the vision issues that turned out
to be her first MS symptoms. But it wasn’t until after she was finally
diagnosed in 1996 that the worst symptom hit. “I was out running one day and I
couldn’t feel my left leg. It was so upsetting,” she recalls. “Running is what
I loved doing the most.”
Since then, MS has made being active
a challenge for Mary. The Philadelphia resident experiences weakness and pain
that makes walking difficult. But when her brother and his daughter announced
that they were going to ride in Bike MS: City to Shore, she decided to sign
up to ride the 25 mile route as well. And when Mary crossed the finish line in
Ocean City, Mary was overwhelmed: “I couldn’t believe it. I did it!”
Share Mary’s story – and your own –
with donors. Whether you are riding for someone you
love living with MS, riding with MS yourself or riding to take on a personal
challenge, donors tend to double their original intended donation if they know
WHY you are riding!
