The success of Bike MS is directly related to the wonderful volunteers who help make the event go off without a hitch. We welcome volunteers with a wide range of talents and skills. There is only one requirement: you have to want to do something about MS NOW.
There are many jobs to choose from including registration, rest stop help, route marking, and cheering at the finish line! To register to volunteer, please fill out the online registration form or call 800-Fight-MS.
If you are interested in any of these areas or any where else along the route, please contact Kathie Cronk, Volunteer Manager.
New volunteer positions for City to Shore
Situations Team Member Due to the inherent risks that come with taking part in a cycling event, there are occasional accidents that result in a participant being transported to a local hospital. The National MS Society is committed to ensuring that injured cyclists get all the support they need during this difficult time. Situations Team Members make this possible. Click here to learn more and become a Situations Team Member. Roving Clean Sweep Team Volunteers are needed on Sunday to follow out the last cyclist and clean the route of all signage. You may also be asked to help with the food and supply truck team to load up supplies from closed rest stops as you move along the route. You must provide your own transportation. These positions would work best as a team. For additional information, contact Kathie Cronk. Transportation Customer Service We are seeking volunteers to assist with the one-way return bus transportation. You will be helping to ensure the cyclists and their bikes get on the proper return bus. Time shifts are available. Register online to volunteer and select Transportation Customer Service in Ocean City. SUPPORT AND GEAR VEHICLE DRIVERS NEEDED The City to Shore ride is in need of about 25 SAG van drivers. Volunteers will be driving 15-passenger vans. Valid driver's license and driving record check are required. If you or anyone you know would like to join our caravan of drivers, please e-mail Kathie Cronk for an application or call 1-800-548-4611, ext. 116.
